Warm and Cool Coin Quilt

Warm and Cool Coin Quilt is a modern take on a traditional quilt design. Here the stacks of coins are divided diagonally, giving you the opportunity to play with color. Separate your fabric into warm and cool color groupings, divide your scraps into two complementary color palettes, or create your own unique approach.

The pattern provides instructions for three sizes (baby, lap, and twin) and works for layer cakes, fat eighths, or scraps. It requires both traditional piecing and simple paper piecing. It's perfect both for new quilters and for seasoned makers with overflowing scrap bins.
