Seud Medallion

Seud Medallion is a traditionally-pieced, block-based design that uses color placement to make a modern, medallion quilt. No specialty rulers or y-seams are involved. This pattern requires a small amount of paper template cutting, but I have a couple of great hacks to make that a cinch. You'll also learn a way to strip piece half-square triangles that is faster, more precise, and requires no trimming. Pattern includes 16 highly-illustrated pages of instruction.

Skill level: intermediate (requires the ability to consistently sew a scant 1/4" seam, work with bias edges without distortion, and match points)
