Glad Hand Sews - Heather Akerberg

Heather (a.k.a. Glad Hand Sews) explores color and shape through the art of quilting. She is a ribbon-winning modern quilter and member of the Omaha Modern Quilt Guild. Her quilts are sometimes quick and easy, other times complex in shape and technique. The end result is always the same – bold and colorful modern quilt designs.

Besides quilting, her favorite things include her pets (lots of pets!), Korean food, chocolate and learning about the creative process (art, architecture, typography design, you name it).
