Amarar Creacions

Living in Mallorca, Spain, I have been a crafter all of my life. I grew up in the workshop of my grandmother who was a professional seamstress. But, my life led me to study and work in different areas, Economics and Music. It was when I was a mother for the first time, in 2013, that I bought my first sewing machine and started creating with fabrics and threads. A year later, the discovery of the world of modern quilting through social media fascinated me in such a way that I decided to make a radical change in my life and work professionally on it. So, in 2018 I created my small business, Amarar Creacions. During the last years, I have focused my pattern designs in a modern and minimalist style, always looking to make unique patterns. I have participated in a Quilt Show of Designers, made some pattern collaborations, and had the Starlike Quilt pattern published in Make Modern Magazine and accepted on QuiltConTogether 2021. Now, I also use my advanced tech skills plus my quilting and pattern design experience to help other designers create their patterns at Seacorner Pattern Workshop, and recently launched the pattern coloring app, QuiltInk.
