Collection: Alison Barry Quilting
Her love for sewing is genetic as both her mom and grandma were avid sewists. She is a self-taught quilter and her early quilts are reflective of that, but the love of quilting stuck and has developed into a passion.
When Alison started using patterns, she found that a number of them were very labor intensive and steps had to be repeated multiple times and were not very conscientious of the value of one's time.
She began to redraw and rework patterns to find more streamlined piecing methods which then evolved into writing her own patterns.
Alison’s patterns are written using methodologies that are streamlined so that quilters can maximize their time.
When Alison is not quilting, she is spending time with her husband and children.
